Every dog is an individual. These general breed notes can help you picture the everyday joys—and responsibilities—of life with a toy poodle.
Poodles are known for being intelligent and people-oriented. Consistent, positive training and time together help them thrive.
Toy-sized doesn't mean inactive. Walks, games, and mental enrichment give an energetic little dog plenty to do.
Regular brushing and professional grooming are part of the routine. Low shedding does not mean no grooming—or an allergy-free dog.
A puppy is a long-term commitment, not just a lovely first hello. Take time to ask, plan, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
What veterinary records and age-appropriate care information can be shared? What should you plan for as your puppy grows?
Ask about early socialization, feeding, training, grooming, and how to make the transition to a new home a gentle one.
Make room in your plans for exercise, companionship, grooming, veterinary care, and the years of commitment ahead.
These are general questions for any prospective puppy home; they are not claims about specific puppies or services.
